Every feeding. Every gram. Nothing lost in a notebook.
Purrgress tracks what your bottle babies eat and what they weigh, so a kitten that stops gaining shows up as a warning instead of a surprise. Built by a foster, for fosters.
Free to use. Works in any browser, with an Android app for reminders. No ads, ever.
What it does
The whole app is built around the two numbers that tell you whether a neonate is thriving: how much went in, and what the scale says.
Feeding log
One tap logs the suggested amount straight from the round list, because you have a kitten in the other hand. Open a kitten when there is more to say: amount, formula, latch quality, and whether they urinated or passed stool.
Daily weights and growth
A chart with the expected gain corridor for the kitten's age drawn behind it. Weight loss in a neonate is flagged immediately, in grams or ounces, whichever you think in.
Medical records
Vaccinations with lot numbers, dewormer, spay/neuter dates, microchip numbers. The things an adopter or a vet asks about a year later.
A whole rescue, not just you
Invite co-fosters and coordinators. A foster sees only their own litters; coordinators see everything. Hand a litter to someone else without handing over the history.
Feeding reminders
Per litter, not per kitten, so a litter of six does not mean six alarms. Spaced by age, and they stop when the kittens are old enough not to need them.
Your records, exportable
Back up to your own Google Drive whenever you like. Switching from paper? Enter old feedings and weights with their real dates.
No ads, no analytics, nothing sold
- There is no advertising code in the app, no usage tracking, and no third party receiving your data. Nothing about you or your rescue is sold to anyone, and the privacy notice lists exactly what is stored.
- Three other things are worth knowing before you rely on it: Purrgress is not veterinary advice, reminders are a convenience rather than a life-support system, and a litter's records belong to the rescue rather than to whoever logged them. Important information covers all three, and takes a minute to read.
What it costs
Nothing today. I cannot honestly predict what it will cost to keep the lights on as more rescues come aboard. The database and storage bills are charged by use, and they grow with the number of animals being tracked. The goal is to keep Purrgress as close to free as it can be, for as long as it can be.
If charging ever becomes necessary, the intention is to scale it with size. A rescue moving hundreds of animals a year costs real money to host; someone fostering a few litters does not, and should stay on a free tier. Whatever happens, you will hear about it here and in the app before it happens, not afterwards.
No ads and no selling your data, regardless. Those are not cost questions.
